This eye-catching one-of-a-kind pair of earring centres around pretty ceramic 'poles' made with light clay and embellished with blue Forget-Me-Not flower which are set off by a brush of liquid palladium. Each pole is suspended from a chain and the chain ornamented by co-ordinating Swarovski crystals. Forget-Me-Nots frequently appear in poetry, folklore and legend. There is a German legend about a knight and his lady who were walking beside a river. The knight stooped to pick a posy of Forget-Me-Nots for his loved one but because of the weight of his armour fell into the river. Before sinking below the water he threw the posy to her and called "Forget-Me-Not". From then on the Forget-Me-Not was worn as a sign of faithfulness and enduring love. These earrings would be ideal for a spring wedding or special event.
